Sinéad Colreavy has over 17 years’ experience in Financial Services Tax.
Working with a wide range of asset management clients, Sinéad is assisting and challenging them to think of new ways to manage their local and international tax risk. Sinéad recognises that getting the balance right between over managing and not managing tax risk is a challenge facing many participants in the asset management industry. She has developed tax policies and effectively implemented pragmatic tax governance operating models for her clients.
Sinéad advises both traditional and alternative asset managers, including all fund forms (ICAVs, unit trusts, CCFs and more recently ILPs), fund structuring, securities and portfolio tax issues, permanent establishment risk, due diligence and M&A work. She works with a wide range of asset managers assisting on the set up and implementation of traditional and alternative asset strategies in all fund forms.
Sinéad uses technology to provide innovative solutions that drive greater efficiency, improve tax processes, manage risk and improve work experience and leads our Financial Services Tax Technology and Transformation Offering.
Sinéad is a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland and Irish Tax Institute. She is also Chair of Irish Funds International Tax Working Group and Chair of basis.point disbursement committee.
