Andy Charman is a Partner for EMEIA Banking Technology.
He is responsible for supporting banking transformation programs and pursuits across EMEIA. He leads the architecture and Nexus for Banking Technical team in the EMEIA Banking Technology Hub.
Andy has expertise banking transformation across Enterprise, Solution and Business Architecture. Andy has worked on the design and transition states of complex banking and payment landscapes as part of banking modernisation programs.
Andy has designed and implemented leading banking vendor platforms such as Temenos, SAP, Finacle, Pega and FintechOs. As a result, he has knowledge across the banking landscape covering channel architecture, payments, core banking, customer, products, downstream data and reporting.
Andy has 25-year experience in Technology transformation assisting banks in evaluating and selecting package solutions from software vendors covering functional, non-functional requirements and commercial aspects.
Andy holds a 2.1 Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems Design from Kingston University.
Andy is a workstream member and contributor to EY’s Global Banking Forum.
Andy’s main goal is to grow the architecture competency across EY and ensure that good design is at the heart of all teams involved in Banking Transformation and this by default is delivered to our clients.
Day to Day, Andy uses his role within the Banking Tech Hub and FSO Technology Consulting in Ireland to pass on his experience and he is always looking to create more innovative ways to accelerate banking transformation via methodologies and automation.
