David Bennett is a Wealth and Asset Management Audit Partner and leads our regional practice located in Cork in the South of Ireland.

David is focused on Alternative Investment Fund’s and having led the audits of some of the world’s largest hedge fund managers brings a depth of experience to support our clients.

David joined EY Dublin in 2007. In 2015, he spent a year working in our Sydney office before returning to Ireland and establishing EY’s second financial services office in Cork in 2019.

He has extensive experience across Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Real Estate and Credit Fund strategies, advising and supporting clients across all stages of the fund life cycle.

David is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland. David is a keen sportsman, an avid golf fan and a member of Ballybunion Golf Club.

David is an active member of Irish Funds, Ireland’s fund industry body and the Funds Forum of the Cork Chamber of Commerce.
