Eoin MacManus is Managing Partner for EY’s Global NextWave Simplification programme. He is also a Banking and Capital Markets Partner in our Ireland Financial Services Organisation.
Eoin has nearly 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry. He has worked in the banking and capital markets sector for the last ten years. He is currently audit engagement partner for one of Ireland’s largest retail banks. He has been an audit engagement partner for retail banks both here and internationally. He has spent over a decade supporting clients in the WAM sector, auditing and advising leading asset managers across Europe.
Eoin is now responsible for our global simplification programme, which will see the firm drive collaboration and teaming, increase operational and cross-functional efficiency, and enable EY to achieve its strategic goals.
Eoin has been a partner with EY since 2000, having joined the firm in 1993. He has held various management roles across the Irish firm and the EMEIA practice in that time. Eoin is formerly the Managing Partner of Ireland’s Financial Services Organisation, a position he held from 2010 to 2021. He was Deputy Managing Partner of EMEIA Financial Services from 2016 to 2021.
Eoin obtained his degree in Economics from UCD in 1992, and his Diploma in Professional Accounting from DCU in 1993. Eoin qualified as a Certified Accountant in 1995 and is a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Accountants.
