Fidelma Clarke is a Partner in our EMEA Financial Services practice and EY’s Sustainable Finance Consulting lead in Ireland.  She supports clients on all aspects of climate–related and environment risk, with a focus on strategy, governance, stress testing and business operating model impacts.

During 2020 and 2021 Fidelma was seconded as Chief Governance Officer to the Sustainable Markets Initiative (SMI), an initiative of His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, co-chaired by Brian Moynihan, Global Chairman and CEO of Bank of America, to accelerate a just transition to net zero through industry innovation, scaling private sector investment and education. This initiative is now supported by more than 300 global corporations.

In addition to Sustainable Finance, Fidelma supports our international banking clients in their alignment with the European regulatory framework and expectations.

Prior to joining EY, Fidelma spent 25 years in banking, specialising in corporate governance and risk and holding board and senior executive roles including that of Chief Risk Officer.  Fidelma is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin with a BA (Mod) and M.Litt. in Economics.
