Helen Kerr is a Partner in our Financial Services Organisation specialising in Banking and Capital Markets. She is also the Payments sector leader and the People Partner on the Irish Leadership Team.
She focuses on providing regulatory and assurance services to her clients, including large accounting change programmes and business impact assessment projects. She works extensively across the Irish and UK banking markets, and the broader capital market landscape seeing one client through from start up to a 2013 IPO on the New York Stock Exchange.
She has over 13 years’ experience in Banking and Capital Markets. In 2011, Helen was seconded to the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) where she was involved in the 2011 Financial Measures Project, presenting to the Troika as well as being the representative on the Department of Finance Credit-Related Working Groups. Since then, she has led some of the largest Asset Quality Review projects and assurance programmes for the firm.
Helen’s People Partner role focuses on the development and delivery of the EY career proposition. She supports the well-being and success of all our people, enabling the growth and evolution of our business and workforce.
In her role as People partner, Helen is passionate about encouraging people to be themselves and achieve their best. Helen believes it is important to empower people to allow them to achieve their full potential. Her leadership style is to give opportunities to help people stretch and develop skills, to push people outside of their comfort zone, with encouragement and support.
She also holds a B.Sc in Business Management, majoring in accounting and is a qualified chartered accountant.
