Jean-Philippe is an Executive Director with EY Financial Services in Ireland. He has worked in the Financial Services industry for the past 15 years serving on a variety of projects in Ireland and internationally. Since joining EY in March 2018, Jean-Philippe has advised international banks, insurance companies, and investment firms on how to develop and maintain their relationships with regulators, and has advised clients developing and executing their strategy taking into account the regulatory environment. Recently, he has been advising clients on their post-Brexit strategy, supporting them through the authorization process, the establishment of a Eurozone head office that has a level of substance and governance consistent with regulatory expectations, and ongoing onsite inspections’ support across a variety of topics from Business Model Assessment, Governance, Risk Management, and Change Management.

Jean-Philippe’s technical expertise covers Licensing Application Process, Governance, Individual Accountability, Local and SSM regulations, and Regulatory Change.

Prior to joining EY, Jean-Philippe was leading Finance, Risk and Regulatory engagements for a global management consulting firm. He also spent nearly three years working for JP Morgan Private Bank in Switzerland where he managed the Treasury & Banking functions for JPM Suisse and for JPMIB Private Bank branches in EMEA.

Jean-Philippe holds a Master of Science in Finance from E.M. Lyon Business School and successfully completed an academic degree with Centrale Lyon Engineering School. He is also a member of the Board of the Audit, Finance and Risk Committee of the Board of the National Gallery of Ireland.
