Ken Phillips is a Partner in EY’s FS Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team. The focus of FS FAAS is supporting CFOs in meeting the ever-changing demands on their agenda. Ken has more than 15 years of industry and practice experience spanning finance (markets and treasury and Airlines), financial services audit and accounting advisory services.

Ken has considerable experience in IFRS accounting, financial instrument accounting (hedge accounting, IBOR / benchmark reform, XVAs), Treasury accounting (including transfer pricing), market risk, business partnering, cost change programmes and leading large teams (both project and business as usual).

These broad experiences position Ken to advise/support on all aspects of the CFO’s agenda.

Ken holds a Commerce (International) degree from UCD, a Masters in Accounting from UCD, Masters in Investment and Treasury from DCU and is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
