Vincent Bergin is the Chief Operating Officer of our combined FSO business. Vincent will help us further enhance our operational rigour and discipline as it will be critical that we can accurately report, manage and predict the performance of our business as we continue to scale and succeed.

Vincent is one of our longest-serving partners, having joined EY straight from school in the 1980s. After qualification Vincent took part in a two-year residency in EY Chicago’s FS practice as part of the beginnings of the Irish firm’s FS strategy, and also gained a qualification in Irish financial services law.

Over the years he has led the firm’s services to some of our largest listed clients. He is currently assurance Professional Practice Director, and past roles have included Country Independence Leader and assurance operations lead. Happiest on the northside, he lives in Howth with his son Tadhg.

Vincent has provided services to the funds industry for over 22 years, specialising in structuring services to hedge funds, securitisation vehicles and non-retail banks and compliance with regulatory provisions.

Vincent holds a post-graduate qualification in Financial Services Law and is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
