Vincent Kim is the Head of the Financial Reporting Group (FRG) within EY Ireland Financial Services.

Vincent leads EY Ireland FS FRG. His responsibilities include building and leading the team, financial reporting related consultation reviews, leading the pre-issuance reviews of the financial statements for FS Ireland’s listed audit clients, implementing in FS Ireland IFRS technical trainings and technical quality initiatives originating from EY EMEIA and supporting audit teams for any financial reporting technical related issues and queries.

Vincent has over 20 years experience in auditing and providing financial reporting technical advice. He has been with EY Ireland since October 2006 and was with EY Philippines prior to that. He has led/managed some of Ireland’s largest Financial Services (FS) audit engagements and relationships. He has considerable technical and specialist knowledge and experience in IFRS and UK and Ireland local GAAP across various sub-sectors within FS, such as in Structured Finance, Wealth and Asset Management, Banking and Capital Markets and Aviation Finance.

Vincent has been leading Ireland’s FS FRG since he joined FRG in 2019 and has been the go to person in FS Ireland for all financial reporting technical matters. He represents FS Ireland within FS EMEIA IFRS Desk Leadership and is a member of various EY Global Subject Matter Groups.

Vincent is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Philippines, placing 5th in the May 2002 CPA Board Exam. He has also completed in Ireland his qualification as an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) member.

Due to the rapidly expanding regulatory and accounting landscape and the continued growth within EY FS Ireland, Vincent aims to continue building Ireland’s FS FRG team. The expanded team will have specialised financial reporting technical knowledge in Banking, General Finance, Insurance, Aviation Finance, Structured Finance and Asset Management in order to provide high quality technical support to FS Ireland’s audit teams.
