Speakers explored the ways in which Ireland’s financial institutions can unite to enhance the safeguarding and support of their customers.
The focus on housing was prominent, and in connection with this, the persistent endeavor to establish a just and equitable society was highlighted through robust Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, improved measures for customer welfare, and sustained efforts in financial literacy programs.

The Future of Customer Engagement and Banking Channels
Niall Corrigan, Partner, Consulting Financial Services presented findings on a soon to be released report entitled the ‘EY EMEIA Bank Channel Benchmarking Report’. This is research, recently undertook in conjunction with our EY FSO EMEIA, looks in detail at the shift in how banks are serving customers specifically focusing in on changing customer behaviour, channel mix and performance to identify market leading omnichannel strategies.
